How are you doing ?

Yesterday and day before  was a great day to hear from our prophets. I really enjoyed it. 

I really loved Prophet Thomas S. Monson talk. 

"May we choose to build up within ourselves a great and powerful faith which will be our most effective defense against the designs of the adversary — a real faith, the kind of faith which will sustain us and will bolster our desire to choose the right. Without such faith we go nowhere. With it we can accomplish our goals."

In life we always  have choices and our choice should be to strengthen our faith so that we  can overcome the temptations  of satan. Our faith will help us to make right choices  and  achieve our  goals.

New Companion - Elder Faar

Hello everybody,

How are ya all ?

I heard the climate is changing in Nepal, so to all my Nepali friends, please take care of your health.

Last week I got my new companion.  His name is Elder Faar, and we are getting to know  more about  each other.

My first companion left on Monday, and I got my new companion on Saturday. I spent the week with another companion  (Apartment missionary) in his area  because  we both were waiting for new companions to come.

I still have not gotten my camera back from Banglore so hopefully I'll have my camera next week. I want to send some pictures of Holi to all of you .

Easter and Holi

Good Evening everyone,

How are you all  doing?

How  was your Easter?

My companion and I had a great time sharing the message of Easter to many people.  We did lots of door knocking and street contacting this  week which led to many new Experiences about facing different  people  and sharing the Gospel with them.

Today my Companion finished his mission and he is on his way home. I will have a new companion this coming Thursday.  His name is Elder Farr.

I am hoping to have  a great time  with him.

How was your Holi? Please send me pics of  you guys  playing  holi . I miss playing  holi with my Cousins.

So on Holi my companion and I were doing companion study.  Suddenly our door bell rang and there were all of our church YSA with  colours.  They coloured us fully with colours and EGGS! 

It was a great time with them.

I will send some pictures next week if I get my camera back.

My camera was in my companion's bag and he forgot to take it out from his bag. He will reach Banglore tonight . I hope i can contact him and have my camera back some how.

Thank you Sister Taysom for sending me pictures of my New Mission President. I know they will be a great Mission president team.

The Real Meaning of the Atonement

I Am Growing Spiritually

Good Morning Everyone,

How are you all doing?

I am doing well here. Yesterday was full of Sport.

In the morning we played Cricket and in afternoon we played volleyball as a Zone activity.  I think my complexion is getting darker and darker every day .

This coming Saturday is Transfers.  I'll will be getting a new companion this coming week.

As this is Easter time we are sharing message about Easter to everyone.

We had a really nice week in learning about the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Before my mission I had never given a deep thought about it, but the past week taught me lot of things about the marvelous and precious gift which our Savior has given to us. I know we cannot even comprehend how much Christ had to go through by performing the Atonement for us and in return he just wants us to "Keep his Commandments". 

I was never a guy who use to be more serious about keeping the commandments except some, but going to Temple helped me in recognizing that how important it is to keep them.  The Atonement gave me the hope and desire to keep them. I've learnt one thing very clearly; until you get a desire to do something, it does not matter who tells you to do it.  You have to have your own personal desire to keep the commandments.  But when you do get that desire, you will do your very best to accomplish your desire. 

On this Easter season, I think one of the gifts which I can give to the Lord is Keeping his commandments and give my best in his errand.

Working in Our Branch

Good Morning Every One

How are you all?

I hope you are all doing well. I'm doing  good here. My mission is going well. The good thing about a mission is we get to learn new things every day and you get to improve every day. This week we did some door knocking.

There are two sets of missionaries in each branch here in Rajahmundry. So we have four missionaries in our branch and our branch area is divided into two. Because we have very few Perspective Elders in our  area to work , we took one area from the other Elders of our branch.  Now we are working in that area to find less-active and new investigators.

We are holding unto a Scripture from  1 Nephi 3:7

“And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them”

We know that missionary work is Lord’s 

commandment so If  we diligently keep his

commandment, he will prepare way for   us so

that we may be able to accomplish the things

which he has commanded us.

Rajamundry is Getting Hot

Hello everyone

How  are ya all?

It’s a great day here in Rajahmundry. We had a very good week. Last Monday we played cricket as a zone activity. We played cricket whole half day in full scorching Sun. All of us are sun tanned. I’ll send some pictures  after  this. This week we went door knocking. We  have found  some  potential Investigator.

Rajahmundry is doing fine.The heat is climbing up and up each day by day And its getting hotter and hotter.

I m sharing a scripture which I like  very much recently.

It’s from 2 Nephi 31:19-20

 19 And now, my beloved brethren, after ye have gotteninto this strait and narrow path, I would ask if all is done? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; for ye have not come thus farsave it were by the word of Christ with unshaken faith inhim, relying wholly upon the merits of him who is mightyto save.

 20 Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastnessin Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a loveof God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure tothe end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.
