Hello everyone,
We experienced some crazy weather here in Rajahmundry. It was rainy. It was super windy and it's 46 degree Celsius with lots of humidity. We have one Investigator with whom we had the longest lesson of our mission. It was more than a 4 hour lesson. We used a lot of questions and lots of different answers and examples to help him understand. Finally we had YES for Baptism, but he is struggling to quit using Coffee. Now we are trying to help him to leave coffee so that he can be Baptized soon.
We have one other Investigator who is a cousin of our member family. She has a good knowledge of the Bible and she started reading the Book of Mormon before we had a lesson with her. She is super curious about the Book of Mormon and our church. We are doing our best to help her .
This week I liked these verses very much which I also shared with two of our members.
Here they are:
Alma 32:41-43
41)But if ye will nourish the word, yea, nourish the tree as it beginneth to grow, by your faith with great diligence, and with patience, looking forward to the fruit thereof, it shall take root; and behold it shall be a tree springing up unto everlasting life.
42) And because of your diligence and your faith and your patience with the word in nourishing it, that it may take root in you, behold, by and by ye shall pluck the fruit thereof, which is most precious, which is sweet above all that is sweet, and which is white above all that is white, yea, and pure above all that is pure; and ye shall feast upon this fruit even until ye are filled, that ye hunger not, neither shall ye thirst.
Loads of love,
Elder Shrestha
An email response to Elder Shrestha:
Dear Elder Shrestha
I am so happy and proud for your to represent Nepal in your mission. You are doing an amazing job. I hear good stories and reports from you and others. What a opportunities for you to server the Lord in that part of the world.
Diverse weather and culture is very interesting for you to experience.
Smina also wrote from her mission. This is such wonderful time for our youth to be doing the Lord's work. last
I saw your dad in the Church last Sabbath and chatted for a brief. He is such a sweet individual.
I hear occasionally from your brother as well. You have a great family.
Please keep on sending notes to me when you write home. I will be honored to read your notes/
2 Nep. 32:3 Angles speak by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore, they speak the words of Christ. It is not the intellect that makes us florish in the Lord's work but the spirit
A lot of love and appreciations.
