The Joy of Repentance - August 15, 2016

Hello Every one !!
How are you all?

This week I thought I should share this things to all of you.
Lots of time we talk about Repentance as an easy process. But it is a really hard process to go through. If we take courage and Repent and humble our self to God our sins will be forgiven and the Joy of Repentance is High.

Alma 36:8-20

8 But behold, the voice said unto me: Arise. And I arose and stood up, and beheld the angel.
9 And he said unto me: If thou wilt of thyself be destroyed, seek no more to destroy the church of God.
10 And it came to pass that I fell to the earth; and it was for the space of three days and three nights that I could not open my mouth, neither had I the use of my limbs.
11 And the angel spake more things unto me, which were heard by my brethren, but I did not hear them; for when I heard the words—If thou wilt be destroyed of thyself, seek no more to destroy the church of God—I was struck with such great fear and amazement lest perhaps I should be destroyed, that I fell to the earth and I did hear no more.
12 But I was racked with eternal torment, for my soul was harrowed up to the greatest degree and racked with all my sins.
13 Yea, I did remember all my sins and iniquities, for which I was tormented with the pains of hell;yea, I saw that I had rebelled against my God, and that I had not kept his holy commandments.
14 Yea, and I had murdered many of his children, or rather led them away unto destruction; yea, and in fine so great had been my iniquities, that the very thought of coming into the presence of my God did rack my soul with inexpressible horror.
15 Oh, thought I, that I could be banished and become extinct both soul and body, that I might not be brought to stand in the presence of my God, to be judged of my deeds.
16 And now, for three days and for three nights was I racked, even with the pains of a damned soul.
17 And it came to pass that as I was thus racked with torment, while I was harrowed up by the memory of my many sins, behold, I remembered also to have heard my father prophesy unto the people concerning the coming of one Jesus Christ, a Son of God, to atone for the sins of the world.
18 Now, as my mind caught hold upon this thought, I cried within my heart: O Jesus, thou Son of God, have mercy on me, who am in the gall of bitterness, and am encircled about by the everlasting chains of death.
19 And now, behold, when I thought this, I could remember my pains no more; yea, I was harrowed up by the memory of my sins no more.
20 And oh, what joy, and what marvelous light I did behold; yea, my soul was filled with joy as exceeding as was my pain!
No matter how deep is our sin , If we rely on the Atonement of Jesus Christ and Repent of our sins, we can receive the remission of our sins and feel the joy of Repentance.
Lots of love

Bangalore is Cool - August 8, 2016

Hello Everyone!!

Good morning!!!!!!!!!!

How are you all ?

As I said earlier I'm in Banglore now. My new companion name is Elder Tuscano. He is from Utah but he is also half indian, his mom is from chennai. We are serving in Indira Nagar ward. We are white washing this area so every thing is new to us. We are trying to figure out our areas and member's home. Hopefully we will get better at this coming days.

For me Banglore is completely new.Talking as coming from Rajahmundry , I feel like coming from village to town and every thing is different and Banglore is so cool , not like Nepal but much more better than Rajahmundry. Because it is a corporate city , here is much more air pollution because of many vehicles.

last Friday we meet with Bishop. He is such a visionary man. And on Saturday evening we were able to meet with most of the members.
Yesterday at church we were able to meet all present members and greet them and also take some appointments.

I like this ward. We have very less members and all  are friendly. The YSA here are good .

Last Friday my companion had his Birthday. He completed his nineteen and turned twenty. so we went to a american restaurant to celebrate his birthday .We really had as Awesome Burger and bottom-less coke. Pictures are followed in next email.

Here is something which I liked this week.

Moroni 7:16-19

16 For behold, the Spirit of Christ is given to every man, that he may know good from evil; wherefore, I show unto you the way to judge; for every thing which inviteth to do good, and to persuade to believe in Christ, is sent forth by the power and gift of Christ; wherefore ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of God.
17 But whatsoever thing persuadeth men to do evil, and believe not in Christ, and deny him, and serve not God, then ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of the devil; for after this manner doth the devil work, for he persuadeth no man to do good, no, not one; neither do his angels; neither do they who subject themselves unto him.
18 And now, my brethren, seeing that ye know the light by which ye may judge, which light is the light of Christ, see that ye do not judge wrongfully; for with that same judgment which ye judge ye shall also be judged.
19 Wherefore, I beseech of you, brethren, that ye should search diligently in the light of Christ that ye may know good from evil; and if ye will lay hold upon every good thing, and condemn it not, ye certainly will be a child of Christ.
May we all hearken unto the Spirit of Christ which is given to us.
Lots of Love,
 Elder Shrestha

HELLO EVERYONE!!

This week we had two Baptisms.Actually we had planned for Three Baptisms but one of two brothers is suffering from chicken pox. The elder brother had chicken pox first so the baptism for both was postponed from last week to this week but this week younger brother is suffering from from chicken pox.
So this week we baptised Elder Brother only , But for younger brother we have planned to baptised him next week. He already had his baptism Interview and his records filled so we have to only wait for him to get healthy.

The both baptism candidate asked me to perform Baptism so i was blessed to give them Baptism and welcome them to the kingdom of Lord.

I was asked to give a talk in sacrament meeting yesterday and the Topic of my talk was "Every member is a missionary' . I was glad to speak on this inspired topic which can help member.

Well I am GOING to Banglore tomorrow  I am sad to leave this area since it is my first area but i'm also expecting to see and work in new area and meet new people and have new experiences on my mission.

The 4 T's - July 25, 2016

Good morning

How was your week?

We had a pretty good week with some sadness .The two Investigator(Brothers) who had baptism date yesterday postponed their baptism this week Because the elder brother is suffering from Chicken pox so their father didn't wanted him to take Baptism yesterday and they both wants to be Baptised on same time so they are preparing to take Baptism this Sunday. We are praying that Lord will help him to get out that sickness by this week so that he can be baptised along with his brother.

After a long time we had a Branch missionary activity on Friday. Our BML explained very distinctly , Who are branch missionaries and what are their responsibility. After he was done with that, he surprisingly called me front and asked me to explain how Branch missionaries should fellowship with new Investigators.
It was a surprise call to me but as I went forward suddenly one concept came to my mind. It was like this and I explained it in this way

My concept is 4T's .

There are 4T's how Branch missionaries or any branch member can fellowship with a new Investigators.

1st T = Talk: Talk with new person as much as you can. Introduce yourself to them and let them also know about you.Make them comfortable in church. Be their Friend. Ask them what are they doing, hobby, job, study, family, and home address.

2nd T= Take : Take their phone numbers and let them have your number also. and when you have their number don't just keep it in cell phone , call them at least Two time a week and ask how are they doing and how are their family and do they need nay help from you.Show them you care.

3rd T= Travel : By this time you will already know their home address and phone number so travel to their home at least one in two weeks, this will give you abetter opportunities to know about their families and also invite them to Church.

4th T= Testify : when you visit their home don't simply talk about families and works , Don't ever Forget to Bear you TESTIMONY. Testify about Saviour. Joseph Smith ,Book of Mormon and Blessings of Gospel in your life. And also your conversion story.

I talked about these things in brief but I do not write now.And felt pretty Good about this 4T's so i'am sharing this with you all. May this all help you to fellowship new Investigators  in your Branch.

Other than that we have a new BML in our Branch. He is awesome guy with awesome family. We are looking forward to work with him and give our best to this Branch.

President Henry B. Eyring said,
